IQ Test on the Maiden Voyage

For the past several months I've had a proverbial itch I couldn't scratch. I felt a need to get outside of my comfort zone a bit, and find a way to enhance both my intellect as well as my character. The idea of a video blog didn't come immediately. I had lately been watching a lot of TED Talks as well as watching a few Youtube vloggers. These were immensely interesting to me and I felt my mind opening, but I needed more. I needed to be part of the conversation, not just a listener. I have long been interested in the art of film making, but I have always been insistent on being behind the camera, so the idea of vlogging was out of the question at the time. 

I wouldn't go so far as to say that I'm a shy person, but I lack a certain charisma that I envy in others. I realized that in order to obtain this charisma and other character traits that I lack, I would need to step out of my comfort zone and do something that embarrassed me a bit. So after a lot of thinking I started really getting excited about this blog. I knew it was something I wanted to do. It wasn't long after that before I heard the phrase "To Fuse is Richer Than to Separate." (I'll explain more about that later) I immediately knew that would be the name of my blog. I got so excited that I began planning out episodes and telling all my friends. 

I had the best of intentions to get it started, but things continued to get in my way. After about a month, I sort of lost the zeal that I originally had. It wasn't until just this week that I realized that unless I just set aside time to get it done, it would probably never happen. And now that it's begun, I'm committed. So I invite you all to join in the conversation. Tell me what's on your mind. And together we'll expand our intellect and build our character.
